The custom-made pants were beautifully designed and hand-crafted specifically for Jason Statham. There is a black elastic strap sewn inside each of the leg openings to hold the pants in place. The trousers are carefully "teched", treated by the studio to look like they were worn throughout an epic journey. In deed, this outfit was worn in nearly every scene in which he appeared. You can tell that some of the stains are from the wardrobe department and other really were created during the on screen journey, a reminder that this was a very active set.
