John Cusak  is known for his work in romantic comedies like Serendipity as well as roles in dramatic action adventure films like "The Thin Red Line." He was included in this all-star cast and delivered a solid performance. Throughout this classic film, he wore vintage battle fatigues and a soiled athletic shirt. It appears as a tan shirt although it is a white knitted shirt that is deliberately soiled around the neckline.

The shirt has been "stained" by wardrobe with mineral oil and a little mud. There are also signs of Cusak's natural perspiration under the heavy uniform.
