Allen Covert  is a long-time friend of Adam Sandler. He writes and produces for Sandler's Happy Madison Productions and has appeared in 12 of Sandler's films including "Happy Gilmore", "The Wedding Singer", "Big Daddy", "Mr. Deeds", "50 First Dates", "...Chuck and Larry", and "Strange Wilderness". In "Strange Wilderness", Allen's leading role as Fred was hardly a stretch. The character Fred is a long-time stoner friend who offers to write and produce a show for Steve Zahn's character, Peter. In the film, Allen's character is accused of creating the worst program on the air, while in the real world, Allen was panned for producing one of the worst films in history. Is it the worst? Nah. A bit sophomoric around the edges and a wasted opportunity with a really good cast, but far from the worst ever. And you can tell from the interviews that the Happy Madison boys had a lot of fun making this film.

For your consideration is a belt worn by Allen Covert in his role as Fred Wolf in the notorious film, "Strange Wilderness". Allen's character Fred works for a fast food restaurant "Pelican Patty's" and he wears this black belt with silver buckle in the drive-thru window in scene 84 of the film. The belt comes with a certificate of authenticity for just $10.
