This film, co-starring The Rock, is also known as "Welcome to the Jungle" in the UK. Beck, "The Rock", is a bounty hunter working for Travis' mobster father to track Travis down in the Amazon jungle. These screenworn boots are part of a complete outfit that has been deliberately solied by the studio to simulate some fairly rugged jungle hiking. Each of these items has been deliberately aged and retains some of the reddish dirt that has been applied by the studio. This listing is for one element only: the pair of boots. This outfit is worn throughout most of the film and there are 2 other complete sets of these clothes in various stages of wear that we have seen sold at auction. This pair of rugged boots is well broken in. They have some red clay in the soles from being on location and the leather on the toes and heels has been scuffed with a file. And the laces are frayed on 3 ends. Despite exterior scuffing, they show very little wear on the insides–in fact, they look quite new. There is no size indicated on these boots, but they appear to be around a US size 10 - 11. They would make a great display as is or with other pieces from the outfit; or they could be cleaned up and worn as a very special pair of boots with history and attitude.
