Brad Renfro starred in the film "The Client" when he was only ten and worked consistently afterward, effectively growing up on camera with all of the unfortunate dysfunction and scandals of a former child star. Brad played the sexy bad boy on screen and in real life, exploring the dark side in both realms. In an ironic twist, Renfro, who was arrested 3 times for drug and alcohol abuse, played an anti-drug gang member, Bobby, in the critically acclaimed film, "Deuces Wild". Sadly, his personal battle with substance abuse was lost on January 15, 2008 when he died of apparent complications of his addictions. Brad Renfro will be remembered as an award-winning actor, writer and producer whose life and career were cut tragically short at the age of 25. His acting legacy will live on in his films, including one which has yet to be released.
